Annual Football Festival
July 9th & 10th
Saturday 9th July - U6, U8 and U10's
Sunday 10th July - U7, U9 and U11's
The current plan (Subject to change) is:-
- First KO at 10am
- U6's - 4/5 games each
- U7's and above - 7-8 games each
- Medal presentation for U6's at 13:15
- Medal presentation for U7's at 15:00 (timings subject to all games remaining on schedule)
- Medal presentation for U8's - U11's at 16:00 both days (timings subject to all games remaining on schedule)
Please aim to arrive between 8:45am-9:30am
First KO is scheduled for 10am
Car park will not be open before 8:30am
**No parking on residential streets please
Parking / entrance will be charged at a cost to all attendees.
Team entry fees predominantly only cover the costs of medals
Football festivals are primarily run to generate money that goes directly back into grassroots football.
This arrangement is common practise at all club festivals and paid by our attendees when they visit away festivals.
Our coaches and player parents will also be charged.
The festival will take place at our club which is situated in Portskewett, a neighbouring village of Caldicot.

The club will have contactless card machines available for you to complete your purchases
The ground should be hard in July, therefore we recommend astro style football trainers.
Studs or moulded boots should be avoided
We have secured a 500+ car park facility within a 5 minute walk from the festival.
A pre event information pack containing details of parking has now been issued to all coaches.
Coaches have been asked to circulate the information pack to all parents attending.

Male, female and disabled toilets will be available all day on both days.
Parking and Programme is £3.00
A small entrance fee will also be charged for those walking to the festival. This is to ensure we comply with Monmouthshire County Council Event guidelines.
Children are FREE

Cars are parked entirely at the owners risk. Portskewett and Sudbrook FC or the car park owners accept no responsibility for damage or theft to vehicles or items left inside.
A BBQ will be available on site for you to purchase hot food.
We cannot provide meat free alternatives unfortunately.
If you have any specific dietary needs, please ensure you bring food with you.
A snack / sweet shop will also be available as will an Ice-cream van
The local Premier Stores also sells snack type foods and is a 3 min walk

We anticipate a finish around 1pm for U6's and 3/4pm for all other age groups
The running of the day will depend on all teams being prepared to kick-off their fixtures at the scheduled time
Portskewett and Sudbrook JFC cannot accept responsibility for any charges you may incur for pre-booked transport arriving and the event not being finished.
There are some shady areas under trees
Teams will be allocated a pitch and teams will remain on that pitch for the duration of the event.
Pitches will be marked clearly for you to identify
The plan at present is for all pitches to have 2 of our U14 players officiating the game.
Please respect their decision and remember they are children themselves and are volunteering.
Please bring a match ball - the “Home” team will be expected to provide a ball for their game.
Bibs are also advisable in case of a kit colour clash (although we will avoid this if possible)
Each coach attending the day should be a qualified first-aider as per the requirements of your governing body.
It is expected that the coach attending is responsible for their players as they would be in any league fixture.
However, our club coaches will also be on hand.
A brand new AED has recently been installed at the club in the event it is required.
We have bouncy castles, penalty shootout, face painting and more to occupy the younger children.
We also have a children’s play area right next to the main pitch consisting of swings, climbing frames and more.
The adjoining area which will host the younger games also has a large extensive area for children to explore.
We also have Little Pips on site who will be offering activities for the very young (Parents will be required to remain with their child at all times)
No dogs are permitted over the weekend.
Please ensure coaches confirm their arrival at the Registrations Tent - this can be found close to the clubhouse

A pre event pack has now been circulated to all coaches who have been asked to circulate it to all parents attending the festival. This pack can also be seen HERE
We have a lot of family orientated fun activities on hand to keep siblings entertained
Any cancellations 6 weeks prior to the festival will not incur a refund.
Cancellation of the festival for any reasons outside the organisers control will not warrant a refund.
This is due to entry fees primarily being used to make purchases in advance for items such as medals.
